SVST is a recreational swim team that is part of the newly formed Lafayette Swim Conference (LSC). We swim against teams in our conference as well as other teams in the area. We strive for a balance of competition, sportsmanship, friendship, and fun. The team experience is enjoyable for all levels of swimmers, and provides them with the tools and coaching to improve their stroke techniques. We offer:
- An experienced coaching staff
- A high ratio of coaches to swimmers at all age-level practices
- Social activities for team members and their families
- Open to Sun Valley Swimming Pool Association members
- In 2011 the team numbered 176 swimmers, from roughly 100 families
- Active Season (2012): May 7 - July 29
- Registration begins online on March 15th, 2012
- An experienced coaching staff
- A high ratio of coaches to swimmers at all age-level practices
- Social activities for team members and their families
- Open to Sun Valley Swimming Pool Association members
